Navratri is a celebration of the triumph of good over evil. It is believed that people who worship Maa Durga and fast during that period get blessed with prosperity, health and wisdom. Navaratri (nine nights) is one of the greatest Hindu festivals. Navratri, or the nine nights, is the Indian festival of nine holy nights which celebrates the victory of the goddess Shakti over evil. The days fall on the nine auspicious days as per the lunar calendar of Hinduism. As it is popularly known, all the nine days of Navratri are dedicated to nine different form of Goddess Durga. The ninth day or Maha Navmi 2019 of the Navratri is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth avatar of Maa Durga. Navratri is the most pious celebrations in the Hindu custom that happens to commemorate the worship of Goddess Durga with her nine savroop.
